Common Name : Phlox, upright
Latin Name : Phlox Description : Upright Phlox is a true old-time staple, producing blooms of pure, bright colors in July. The foliage can get mildew. Plant them out in the open so they get plenty of air circulation to prevent mildew. "Miss Lingard" is more resistant to mildew, blooms early and often. Cut off the early bloom. Lavenders, reds, pinks, white. "Mt. Fujiama" was gorgeous in our gardens. Find a neighbor and dig up a few stems. |
