Originally called the "Gary" dogwood because it was discovered
by Melvin Bergeson growing in a swamp near Gary, MN, the Bergeson
Dogwood is distinctive for its dense growth, rich red fall leaf color,
and bright red branching. It is ideal for the corner of a house, for
a hedge, or for a screen.
